Pietro Rosso e Carlo Alberto Menon suonano insieme dal 1997. Hanno sempre ricercato la vera e propria sensazione nella musica: qualcosa che potesse scuotere l’animo, qualcosa che non avesse bisogno di una formazione classica (basso, chitarra, batteria, voce); un’idea pulita, nuova e non strettamente legata ad uno specifico genere.
Usando sintetizzatori, suoni campionati e un basso in titanio scolpito a mano da Carlo Alberto, danno alla loro musica uno stile particolare: un incontro tra dolcezza e suoni tecnologici, tra potenza e passione.
Vincitori del Veneto Rock festival nel 2001, incidono il primo cd e realizzano il video “Noir”.
Oggi i Syzygy collaborano con Slanch per la messa in stampa dell’album “Féerique”. Nel loro repertorio due ore di pura melodia, mentre continuano a lavorare su nuovi brani… what’s next?

Pietro Rosso and Carlo Alberto Menon have played together since 1997. They have always been looking for the real and true feeling in music: that “something” which might shake people’s soul and doesn’t need a classical formation (bass, guitar, drums, vocal); a neat idea, new and not necessarily bound to a specific genre.
They try to go wherever their mind wants to take them, using synthesisers, midi sounds and a titanium bass guitar hand-carved by Carlo Alberto. The result is a particular style: a meeting of sweet and technological sounds, power and passion, a special way of living music.
After having won the Veneto Rock Festival in 2001, the Syzygy recorded their first cd and made a Videoclip for the song “Noir”.
Now they are collaborating with Slanch to print the “Féerique” album. They own two hours of pure melody while they go on working on new music...what’s coming next?
